Regional Sales Manager

An Edmonton client seeks a Regional Sales Manager to join their team.

Regional Sales Manager Highlights:

·         Position Summary: The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing business within a designated geographic region. This role involves targeting end-users, EPCs, contractors, and OEMs to generate demand, uncover unmet needs, and create specifications for branded products and services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the Nuclear market with a proven track record in engineering, sales, marketing, or business development.

·         Sales Growth and Key Account Management:

·         Identify and target end-users, EPCs, contractors, and OEMs to generate demand and create specifications for branded products and services.

·         Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, and meetings to uncover customer needs and generate demand.

·         Develop and manage a direct end-user and channel distribution strategy to capture demand throughout the region.

·         Provide direct end-user and distributor training.

·         Conduct joint visits with distributors and manage account activities in coordination with inside sales representatives.

·         Manage assigned accounts within the region or market and, if applicable, oversee a network of sales agents to support distribution and generate end-user demand.

·         Maintain effective relationships with stakeholders through visits, telephone, and email communication.

·         Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan and roadmap.

·         Maintain a high profile in the region and market segment through participation in committees, industry events, and networking activities.

·         Maintain key customer profiles and provide updates to the team through monthly reports and visit/status reports.

·         Assist with the preparation of customer quotes, ensuring compliance with market factors, pricing guidelines, and approval matrices.

·         Penetrate key accounts by ensuring that offerings are approved and listed on all relevant Utility CIDs.

·         Business Development and Marketing:

·         Conduct market segment identification and analysis, along with macro and microeconomic analysis.

·         Perform competition analysis, channel analysis, and product portfolio analysis.

·         Develop new markets and products, including margin and pricing analysis.

·         Internal Management:

·         Track key strategic projects and maintain the Salesforce CRM sales funnel.

·         Identify likely future sales points and contribute to monthly reporting and revenue forecasting.

·         Strategic Planning:

·         Contribute to the strategic and business planning cycle by developing and maintaining SWOT analyses.

·         Research and recommend potential acquisitions.

·         Identify action plans aligned with company strategies and vision.

·         HSE/Quality:

·         Ensure compliance with commercial processes related to N299/NQA-1 and other relevant industry requirements (CSA/UL).

·         Support and participate in the company’s HSE Program.

·         Comply with the company’s Quality Assurance Program.

·         Qualifications:

·         Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or Chemical).

·         6 to 10 years of experience in the Nuclear market, particularly in engineering, sales, marketing, or business development.

·         Proven ability to win new direct business from Tier 1 OEMs and EPCs.

·         Experience developing business and gaining approvals in new Nuclear markets (MMRs, SMRs).

·         Established relationships with technical personnel and decision-makers at Canadian Nuclear Utilities and within the Nuclear industry supply chain.

·         Strong analytical skills to evaluate diverse internal and external information.

·         This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a deep understanding of the Nuclear market and a strong background in sales and business development. The Regional Sales Manager will be instrumental in driving the company’s growth and ensuring the success of key strategic initiatives.

Regional Sales Manager Hours & Wage

·         Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

·         $100,000 - $ 125,000/year
