Sales Manager

An Edmonton client seeks a Sales Manager to join their team.

Sales Manager Highlights:

·         Develop and implement a yearly air compression business plan and sales strategy to achieve sales goals, growth, and profitability.

·         Collaborate with represented manufacturers, communicating the company's sales plan and providing requested information.

·         Create and coordinate action plans to increase sales of air compression products.

·         Travel as needed with sales teams to support sales, provide training, assist with troubleshooting, or manage commissioning.

·         Mentor sales teams on market needs, air compression products, and technical capabilities.

·         Host internal and external training sessions to share product knowledge and drive product proficiency within the company.

·         Promote teamwork, collaboration, and goal setting within the sales teams to foster a positive and productive environment.

·         Encourage learning and growth, providing support for continuous improvement.

·         Provide exceptional customer service to meet customer needs and ensure satisfaction.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, acting as a liaison to communicate expectations and facilitate smooth operations.

·         Ensure safety certifications and qualifications are up to date to maintain access to customer sites and ensure compliance.

·         Skills and Abilities:

·         Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.

·         Attention to detail with a systematic approach to tasks.

·         Proactive mindset with the ability to lead by example.

·         Strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills.

·         Ability to collaborate across departments and support team morale with a positive attitude.

·         Proven experience in sales or business development, particularly within air compression or related industries.

·         Strong understanding of market needs and product knowledge within the air compression industry.

·         Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor, train, and lead teams.

·         Valid safety certifications required for accessing customer sites (or willingness to obtain).

Sales Manager Hours & Wage

·         Monday to Friday – 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

·         $100,000 - $160,000/year
