Senior Project Engineer
An Edmonton client is searching for a Senior Project Engineer to join their team.
Senior Project Engineer Highlights:
· Ensure adherence to applicable codes and regulations.
· Plan, organize, and collaborate with technical groups to meet project requirements.
· Prepare technical specifications and reports.
· Draft and submit budget proposals, recommending changes where necessary.
· Support the development and implementation of project execution plans and procedures.
· Maintain accurate and timely reporting standards throughout projects.
· Facilitate effective communication between various departments.
· Deliver engineering tasks within project timelines and budgets.
· Manage project costs and schedules.
· Prepare and issue purchase requisitions, obtaining competitive pricing for equipment as needed.
· Incorporate "Lessons Learned" from previous projects into current project engineering.
· Review and approve all drawings according to established procedures and project schedules.
· Review and approve vendor drawings.
· Review specifications to support bid preparation and project execution.
· Collaborate with clients and vendors.
· Perform other duties as required.
· Requirements:
· Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry, preferably in gas processing or related manufacturing.
· Intermediate proficiency in engineering and project-related software such as AutoCAD, Inventor, Pro/Engineer.
· Strong knowledge of ASME/ANSI/API Codes.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
· Field experience in commissioning/start-up or operations in oil and gas facilities is an asset.
· Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, or equivalent, from an accredited university.
· Preferred registration as a Professional Engineer (P. Eng.).

· $129,000/year
